Skiing and winter

There are good opportunities for skiing and other winter activities in the area.

Cross-country skiing

Trail running at Blefjell is of a very good standard. Skisporet.no is updated with the latest news. The area furthest west has calm terrain and is mainly gently undulating. At Ble-Høgda and Liatoppen they say they do not go up the mountain, but into the mountain. The area is well suited for both children and keen exercisers. Store-Ble has greater variations and easier access to Bletoppen and Snaufjellet.

There are also good opportunities for cross-country skiing in the forest around Bolkesjø. It's great to explore the forest off the beaten track.

Mountain skiing and randonee

Store-Ble is great to explore on mountain skis or randonee. Suløytsnuten is a good starting point for randonee with nice downhill runs. Gaustatoppen is also popular among randonee enthusiasts and easily accessible for a day trip.

Slalom

Liatoppen has a small ski lift. Both Kongsberg Ski Center and Gaustablikk Ski Center are within driving distance.
