The farm people

Hello and welcome to us!  

Nigard Bolkesjø has been in our family for hundreds of years, in fact as far back as the 16th century. Anne took over the farm from her father Leif, who had taken over the farm from his mother, and so on. Thanks to the good help from family and previous generations, we are very happy to once again be able to welcome guests “ Velkommen te gards” .  

Ole Henrik and Anne hope to give their daughters a good upbringing on the farm. They believe in simple pleasures, such as making farmsteads under the trees, swimming in the lakes and going for long walks in the forest. Lisbeth and Leif, Anne's parents, still live on the farm and are happy to chat with guests in the yard. We all love the forest, old traditions, the simple life close to nature. Through a stay with us, we hope you will appreciate the same.
